Welcome to Nanoparadise 2025!
Nanoparadise is an event happening from April 1 to 5 in Asturias, Spain, bringing together up to 40 physics students from all over the world. You will get the chance to explore exciting research in nanophysics and nanomaterials in a region full of amazing research groups ready to meet you. Do not miss this opportunity to be part of the first international event organized by the Student Group of the Royal Spanish Society of Physics!

Programme
The event will give you the opportunity to attend talks by our experts across diverse fields of nanoscience. Afterward, you will have the chance to visit their facilities and experience their groundbreaking work firsthand.And if you still have questions, the final day will feature a roundtable session where you can ask our researchers anything you would like and seek their expert opinions on any topic you wish to explore
We will also host a poster session where you can share your own research with fellow attendees. Who knows? You might just find your future lab partner here!
Inscriptions
Registrations will open soon! To participate, you will need to complete a form with some general information and a motivation letter. We will contact you later to arrange the payment of 80€. While priority will be given to those who have studied subjects such as condensed matter physics, nanoscience, or nanomaterials, students from any bachelor's, master's, or PhD program are welcome to apply.
What is Included in the Registration Fee?
- Accommodation in Oviedo for the four nights of the event.
- Breakfasts and transportation during the event activities.
- Lunches and dinners included on the programme. If our budget allows it, there could be more.
Participants will stay at both Colegio Mayor San Gregorio and Alojamientos Dohve, both in Oviedo and less than 100m apart.
Participation Requirements
To attend Nanoparadise, you must be a member of IAPS (International Association of Physics Students) or Young Minds. If you are not yet a member, feel free to contact us or your local Territorial Committee to join IAPS or Young Minds. Remember, if you are member of the Students Group of the Spanish Royal Physics Society, you are automatically a member of IAPS. This also happens with many national entities, so contact yours if you are unsure!
Filling the inscription won't mean you are already in. You must wait until our confirmation email arrives to you.
