"Fisica senza confini, Física sin fronteras”
Easy connections from Alicante and Corvera airports...
By Plane: The best options are Alicante Airport (ALC), which has a direct bus to Murcia (takes about 55 minutes), or Corvera Airport (RMU), which is closer but has fewer international flights.
By Train: The AVE (high-speed train) connects Madrid directly with Murcia in just 2 hours and 45 minutes.
The city of eternal sun. Pack light clothes...
Murcia is known for its incredible weather. Even in spring or autumn, temperatures during the day are usually warm (around 20-25°C).
Life here happens outdoors. After the conferences, you'll see everyone having a drink in the "terrazas". Don't forget your sunglasses!
You can't leave without trying a 'marinera'...
La Marinera: A crunchy breadstick topped with Russian salad and an anchovy. The ultimate Murcian tapa.
Paparajotes: A traditional dessert made by deep-frying a lemon leaf coated in dough and sugar. (Pro tip: You don't eat the leaf, just the dough!).
Get lost around the Cathedral, visit the Real Casino...
Catedral de Murcia: A mix of Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles. Its tower is the second tallest in Spain.
Real Casino: A stunning 19th-century gentlemen's club with an incredible Moorish courtyard inspired by the Alhambra.
Plaza de las Flores: The absolute heart of the city's social life, perfect for grabbing a cold beer and a tapa after the conferences.
Santuario de la Fuensanta: Located in the mountains overlooking the city, it offers the best panoramic views of the entire valley.
